Been the word that's on my mind for the past few weeks.
I've been traveling to different places that gave me this perspective. I recently celebrated my birthday last month, no parties, just chilling with friends in a place far from home, the first of its event and I'm happy with the experience.
So this is what luxury feels like? unhurried in the morning to make decisions about what to do in the day or tomorrow while free to choose what I want to do without being financially or emotionally constrained.
Sums up my thought on what a good life I've been living after the travels. And this shit is something I am unable to brag because most people don't have this choice.
Choice. This is the prerequisite to consider yourself free. A lot of generic life advice out there doesn't work because the receiver of message don't have the choice to leave their job, afford being insecure, or not have the means to take the plunge.
I used to dislike my life until I learned the privileges I've reflected on what I've been living with and taking for granted. It's not like I'm making huge money to live comfortable. It's more like I spend less and want less that there's excess to splurge on the things that matter. I'm living within and below my means and I'm happy. But this idea became the highlight after I travelled to different places.
I'm on the net positive perspective about my life and I just wanted to shitpost about it cause why not. I'll figure out a way to give back some of the good stuff I lived with for others.
Thanks for your time.
