As horrible as it sounds, it's exactly the kind of tragic outcome for AI adoption. Why spend money on training new recruits when they can use AI to cover the entry level work. I foresee a generational crisis decades from now as senior specialists retire like how some tradesmen become rare because of the niche work. The remedy I foresee is either government to mandate job positions to private sector or companies adjusting with creating positions for a lower compensation for training.
