I believe that one of the biggest reasons for unemployment is the education system

It's not just the education system but living in an economy that doesn't create more financial incentives to start businesses that creates job offers. If your country is producing several graduates in the workforce per year while not having more registered businesses to cater to those graduates, there's a surplus of people unemployed. Contributing to the surplus of unemployment are existing jobs that offer little incentives and people don't want to work demanding jobs below their educational attainment. There's also the factor of how employment is registered in the survey, part time jobs and seasonal labor may not be considered in as full employment.
