Hello, dear friends. A new weekend has arrived and with it the opportunity to participate in the initiatives of this wonderful community. When I read the themes of #weekend-engagement #115, I had absolutely no doubt about the topic I wanted to address this time and that is "Your weekend clone".
You've managed to create a clone of yourself but it will only last for one weekend. What do you do with your clone and why?
Definitely, the other me would be attending to all my daily chores at home, as well as serving as a babysitter for my little son. As an extra activity I would leave her a to-do list that would include deep cleaning the house, preparing the week's meals, washing the car and if she has time, helping my husband waterproof the roof of the house. What did you think?, that I was going to make it easy for my clone? Of course not!
I think the idea of having a clone is that it helps us to do things that we normally can't, I have a back problem that prevents me from doing too much physical effort, so putting it to do the things on the list, while I rest, is just what I need to recharge my batteries a little and recover from all my ailments.
And if there was the possibility of having a third clone (why limit myself when we are already imagining things), She would definitely spend the whole weekend writing posts for hive hahaha, although that would only be if she has the same mind as me, otherwise I would have more work correcting his incoherencies 馃槄.
Since my son was born three years ago I can only think of one thing REST, so without a doubt what I would do if I had a clone for a weekend would be that, sleep late and spend the whole weekend in bed.
My plan would start Saturday morning, I would sneak out of the house and go straight to one of those all-inclusive hotels, because of course my idea of rest does not include cooking, let alone cleaning.
The two days would be full rest, I would go down to the restaurante only to eat and then straight back to the room to watch movies and series all day, of course I would also include a full body massage, you have to think big my friends and seize the day. For some it may sound too simple, but I think that for those of us who have small children that is one of the things we miss the most, being able to have moments of leisure and rest just for ourselves.
I loved this initiative, although now I've been left with the desire to have a clone, what would you do if you had one for a whole weekend?
Thanks so much for reading me and see you in comments. 鉁岋笍
