The truth of the matter is that 50% of the prison inmate languishing in prison are not there because they committed a crime. Guys when you come to Nigeria everything is possible for the elites. Their children don't break the law, their relative go free even when they have broken a law because they have people who can stand for them and use their influence to get them out of any trouble. But what about the poor masses? Where is the money to buy themselves out? Who do they have?

Having said that above, it will lead us into the topic for Week 231, Episode 02. PRISON WELFARE. I believe that some people just feel that we should do away with all these criminals in prison because we heard that they did one evil or the other. But before we take that hasty conclusion, let's consider that fact that sone of them were victims of circumstances. Is possible that they are not criminals. Yes I know that some are actually bad people and deserve all the punishment they get there. But what about the innocent one?
Should inmates languishing in prison be allowed to enjoy the same healthcare benefits that law-abiding citizens get to enjoy?

For this question I think qe should give them all the health care they can get because as long as I am concern that person can be your brother or relative. Our people say that when they carry the dead body of someone not related to you, it will look lia bounce of firewood, but when it happens directly to you that is when you will feel the pain.
I have a brother who si so dear to me and presently he is fighting for his life in the court for what he did not do. Everyday I wake up with the fact that he might not survive this and come out alive. That alone makes me go crazy and all I do is to pray for him that God will send help to him so that he will come out of that place. I have never felt like this before for prisoners, but because it has affected me directly I can't even sleep well at night because of him.
Know that many of those criminals are responsible for killings and other huge crimes.

This is the fact but not all. Some of them are notorious criminals. Should we allow them die because of that? The Bible says that if God will count all our sins then no one will survive his wrath. But because God is a merciful God he allow both the good nd bad to enjoy all gis goodness: sun, rain, fruits and long life. Infact I noticed that most bad people live even longer because God wants them to change before going home.
In conclusion, i strongly agree that they should be given good health care because some of them there still work for the government. Most times you see them going to farm and even working with their skills for the government. So they should be taken care of. Remember that it is called a correctional center that means we have hop that they will come out and be good people in the society.
