This is something I stumbled upon today while playing with my calculator.
What is with the number 9?
For some reason I have always thought 9 was a magical number as I was born on the 9th day of the 9th month.
I got to playing around with dates. I started with my own birthdate of 9/9/48
You can try this with your own birthdate!
So 9 + 9 + 48 = 66
6 + 6 = 12
Subtract 12 from 66 = 54
5 + 4 = 9
I thought, wow, that is weird so I tried it on my wife's birthdate of 5 + 7 + 52 = 64 - 6 + 4 = 10 - 64 = 54. 5 + 4 = 9
Then I tried it for any date that came to mind and the answer was always 9.
This must mean something but I am not sure what the meaning is.
Does anyone know why this happens?
