We left Calgary and got on the highway about 10:20 AM and made our way to Cochrane on #1-A then headed north on #22

We would be skirting the eastern side of the Rockies. and it was a while before we got into some rolling hills. We took#27 though Sundre and onto #584. It was mostly an overcast day with a few patches of sunlight. The temperature was in the middle teens (C).

We carried on #584 until we got to #734 and stayed on that for quite a while. It was a gravel road and wasn't in good shape. We got a few small showers but nothing serious. We finally got to Ram Falls Park.

We saw 13 deer on our trip but in every case they ran out and crossed the road and were gone back into the forest. Sorry no deer pictures this trip.

Turned quite overcast.

We finally got to Nordegg late in the afternoon and stopped for something to eat.
After we finished eating we made our way to Crescent Falls.
A little bit of sunshine came through while we were at the falls.

How many thousands of years did it take this river to wear away this much rock?
