Just coz the engineers of this world are on deaths door doesn't mean they aren't serious about their goals. That's not how the illuminati works. They believe in reincarnation and passing everything on to their spawn. If it all ended coz they died we wouldn't be where we are today, they've been planning this for a very long time, longer than one generation.
I havn't read the book tho to be fair LOL, I wouldn't waste my time on it.
