Christmas is a beautiful date, I enjoy seeing the lights, the decorations, I also enjoy seeing some videos and photos where cats somehow attack the integrity of the tree, manger or take it against the Christmas decorations, I know it is a matter of curiosity and territoriality, in fact I have friends who do not put tree, manger, or decorations of any kind because they have cats, I refuse to stop putting my tree for having cats.
Of my cats only one, is the one that has what we could call a fixation with the Christmas tree, she is a very cute dark gray kitten, I sometimes say that she is rat color, hahaha, she has huge green eyes and did not grow much which makes her look very tender, her name is Rusa, she owes her name to the gray cats that are known as blue Russian.
La Navidad es una fecha hermosa, disfruto de ver las luces, las decoraciones, también disfruto de ver algunos videos y fotos donde los gatos atacan de alguna manera la integridad del árbol, pesebre o la toman contra los adornos navideños, sé que es un tema de curiosidad y territorialidad, de hecho tengo amigos que no colocan árbol, pesebre, ni adornos de ningún tipo porque tienen gatos, yo me niego a dejar de poner mi árbol por tener gatos.
De mis gatos ya solo una, es la que tiene lo que podríamos llamar una fijación con el árbol de navidad, ella es una gatita muy linda de color gris oscuro, yo a veces digo que ella es color rata, jajaja, es de enormes ojos verdes y no creció mucho lo que la hace lucir muy tierna, su nombre es Rusa, debe su nombre a los gatos de color gris que son conocidos como Ruso azul.

But Rusa, although she is already 3 years old, is the youngest of the herd, she continues with her mania, you can see her at night or even during the day sitting on the arm of the sofa that is next to the tree, with a "I didn't do it" face, waiting for some carelessness to jump and release some of the branches or knock down some of the flowers that she then attacks as if it were a hunting prey, this year I have already repaired several and I am sure that when I put the tree away I will have to repair more.
Rusa, desde que era una cosita mínima ha demostrado tener un carácter firme y retador, le encanta atacar la escoba cuando barro y desatar las cortinas cuando las amarro, pero su conducta con el árbol de navidad ha demostrado ser persistente en el tiempo, mis otros gatos luego de crecer y de unos cuantos regaños ya no le dan mayor importancia, solo dos de ellos orinan las ramas bajas, por tema como ya mencione de territorialidad, entre ellos mismos y con ese invasor que aparece una vez al año y ocupa parte de su casa.
Pero Rusa, aunque ya tiene 3 años, es la más pequeña de la manada, continua con su manía, se le puede ver en las noches o hasta en el día sentada en el brazo del sofá que está junto al árbol, con cara de yo no fui, esperando algún descuido para saltar y soltar alguna de las bambalinas o tumbar alguna de las flores que luego ataca como si fuera una presa de caza, este año ya repare varias y estoy segura de que al guardar el árbol tendré que reparar más

The funniest thing that happened this year was that a few nights ago I saw one of the flowers on the ground, as it did not have a stem to hold it I thought it had fallen, but when I looked at the place where the flower was, the light was off, I saw Rusa lying down like the jaguars do on the branches in the jungle and I was amused by her attitude, I took a first picture that came out very dark and then the one you see as the cover of the publication, but the best part was when I tried to take her down, she began to nibble the flowers and lights and you can see all that in the video I recorded, so I tried to get her out of there as soon as possible to avoid an accident like biting a light and suffering an electric shock.
En otras ocasiones estoy sentada en la sala ya sea viendo televisión o redactado algo en el computador y de repente comienzo a escuchar como suenan las ramas del árbol y como las bambalinas suenan por el moviendo del árbol, ya que ella se mete por el centro del árbol y escala por la parte interna de las ramas lo que produce que este se mueva y muchas veces algunos de los adornos caen al suelo.
Lo más gracioso que ocurrió este año fue que hace unas noches vi una de las flores en el suelo, como esa no tenía un tallo para sostenerla creí que se había caído, pero cuando observe bien el lugar del árbol donde estaba la flor vi, la luz estaba apagada, vi a Rusa recostada como lo hacen los jaguares sobre las ramas en la selva y me causo gracia su actitud, tome una primera fotografía que salió muy oscura y luego la que ven como portada de la publicación, pero lo mejor fue cuando intente bajarla, comenzó a mordisquear las flores y luces y todo eso lo pueden ver en el video que grabe, así que procure sacarla de allí lo más pronto posible para evitar un accidente como el que mordiendo alguna luz sufriera una descarga eléctrica.
Now, about pyrotechnics and my cats, it is a whole topic, I really do not see the sense of all that expense and thunderous sound, many animals, not only dogs and cats, suffer from the sounds, lights and gunpowder, there are also children with special conditions that also suffer horribly by these sounds, in my case I let them take refuge where they feel comfortable or even I get into bed and let them place themselves around me to provide security and support.

Ahora bien, sobre la pirotecnia y mis gatos, es todo un tema, yo la verdad no le veo sentido a todo ese gasto y sonido estruendoso, muchos animales, no solo perros y gatos, sufren por los sonidos, las luces y la pólvora, además hay niños con condiciones especiales que también padecen horriblemente por estos sonidos, en mi caso los dejo refugiarse donde se sientan cómodos o incluso me meto a la cama y dejó que se coloquen a mi alrededor para brindarles seguridad y apoyo.
