Muchos tildan a los gatos de ser fríos y distantes, pero esa no es la percepción, ni la experiencia que he vivido, mis gatos me han demostrado ser animales cariñosos, leales y agradecidos, sobre todo los que he rescatado.

Hace unos años rescate un gato que vivía en una situación de maltrato horrible, le llame Cristopher, ya les he contado de él, al comienzo creí que tal vez se devolvería a su casa que está bastante cercana, pero no fue así, se quedó en mi casa feliz y nos amaba, sus muestras de amor eran diarias.

Ahora bien, mi rescate más reciente Kirara, la siamesa atigrada o punto de lince, ha demostrado primero ser una excelente madre y segundo que está agradecida y se siente feliz a mi lado, si salgo en mi horario normal a trabajar, es decir, si me muevo dentro de la rutina, ella al verme salir a la oficina se queda en casa tranquila, pero si salgo en otro horario me sigue.

Por ejemplo, al ir a botar la basura se va detrás de mí y muchas veces no me doy cuenta hasta que la escucho maullar desesperada porque no se atreve a pasar de cierta zona y maúlla llamándome. Por ejemplo, la semana pasada los vecinos de un edificio cercano estaban instalando una bomba para que el agua les suba más rápido al tanque y le solicitaron ayuda a mi esposo, yo me fui con él al lugar, que se encuentra como a unos 100 metros, cuando me percate Kirara estaba allí a mi lado.

Por otro lado, las vecinas me informaron al día siguiente, que ese día, antes de que Kiara llegara a donde yo me encontraba, la vieron y escucharon llorar desesperada porque me había perdido de vista, los que conocen la situación en la que esta linda gatita llego a la Urbanización se conmueven al ver el cariño y el apego que tiene hacia mí.

De la misma manera, hoy me dio un gran susto, ya que me disponía a salir con una vecina a buscar un material para un trabajo del edificio y para mi sorpresa mientras ella arreglaba algo en los asientos traseros escuche a la Kirara maullar o mejor dicho llorar, al asomarme a ver dónde estaba, me di cuenta de prácticamente estaba en la puerta del vehículo, me tuve que bajar, subirla a casa y dejarla con los cachorros en el cuarto de mi hijo, para que no me siguiera de nuevo.

Así que como ya he mencionado, ella se quedara a vivir conmigo, podríamos decir que ella me adopto a mí y sinceramente ha conquistado mi corazón, pues se ve que está agradecida por lo poco que he podido hacer por ella y sus cachorros. El día de ayer me demostró lo segura que se siente a mi lado, la lleve a retirar los puntos de su esterilización y ella en ningún momento lloro, mientras me tuvo cerca, confió en todo momento en mí y se portó muy bien.

Basada en el comportamiento de esta gata y en otras experiencias vividas, como ya mencione, por mi madre, así como de vecinos y amigos puedo decir sin lugar a dudas que los gatos son animales cariñosos y agradecidos, que no sean tan efusivos como lo puede ser un perro es otra cosa, pero de que puedan dar muestras de estar alegres cuando llegamos a casa lo hace, de hecho mientras escribo estas líneas Kirara está muy cerca de mí, debajo de la mesa del comedor que está detrás de mí y esta tarde me acompaño todo el rato que hice siesta.

En resumen, Kirara ha demostrado a su manera el aprecio y agradecimiento que tiene hacia mí, esto me conmueve y me llena el corazón de alegría, yo no planeaba adoptar otro gato, pero ella es un caso espacial y me niego a hacerla sentirse una vez más abandonada por un humano en el que ella confía.

Now, my most recent rescue Kirara, the brindle Siamese or lynx point, has demonstrated first to be an excellent mother and secondly that she is grateful and feels happy by my side, if I go out in my normal schedule to work, that is, if I move within the routine, when she sees me leave for the office she stays at home calmly, but if I go out in another schedule she follows me.

For example, when I go to throw out the garbage she follows me and many times I don't realize it until I hear her meowing desperately because she doesn't dare to go beyond a certain area and she meows calling me. For example, last week the neighbors of a nearby building were installing a pump so that the water goes up faster to the tank and they asked my husband for help, I went with him to the place, which is about 100 meters away, when I realized Kirara was there next to me.

On the other hand, the neighbors informed me the next day, that that day, before Kiara arrived to where I was, they saw and heard her crying desperately because she had lost sight of me, those who know the situation in which this cute kitten arrived to the Urbanization are moved to see the affection and attachment she has towards me.

In the same way, today she gave me a big scare, because I was about to go out with a neighbor to get some material for a job in the building and to my surprise while she was fixing something in the back seats I heard Kirara meowing or rather crying, when I looked out to see where she was, I realized that she was practically at the door of the vehicle, I had to get off, take her home and leave her with the kittens in my son's room, so that she would not follow me again.

So as I have already mentioned, she will stay and live with me, we could say that she adopted me and sincerely she has conquered my heart, because I can see that she is grateful for the little I have been able to do for her and her puppies. Yesterday she showed me how safe she feels by my side, I took her to remove the stitches of her sterilization and she never cried while she was near me, she trusted me at all times and behaved very well.

Based on the behavior of this cat and other experiences lived, as I already mentioned, by my mother, as well as neighbors and friends I can say without a doubt that cats are affectionate and grateful animals, that they are not as effusive as a dog can be is another thing, but that they can show signs of being happy when we arrive home, in fact while I write these lines Kirara is very close to me, under the dining room table that is behind me and this afternoon she accompanied me all the time that I took a nap.

In short, Kirara has shown in her own way the appreciation and gratitude she has for me, this moves me and fills my heart with joy, I was not planning to adopt another cat, but she is a space case and I refuse to make her feel once again abandoned by a human she trusts.
