Since my last visit here, I promised myself to go more often to take care of my mother's plants and also to make decisions about them, that is to say, to transplant, to prune in short to take care of some things so that this space looks really nice, since with the arrival of the rains the plants have grown and a good part of the enchanted garden looks horrible.
Thinking about this, today I did some little things, I refuse to do everything at once, because I don't want to stay without doing something for the garden every week, besides watering it and I don't want to end up exaggeratedly tired, I am convinced that I must have the hemoglobin a little low.
Last week I gave some aloe plants that my mother had to some neighbors who were fixing a garden and I realized that the grass, which is like a small vine that I love, keeps the place very humid, since one of the aloe vines was rotten so I have to remove some plants that do not need so much humidity, because they will die, in fact, the cretona that I had at home and that I had planted there was drowned by this plant. I managed to rescue a branch and transplant it, I hope it survives to plant it in another place and enjoy its beautiful colors.
On the other hand, I removed from the place a container that my mother had that did not contain any plant, only soil, I took advantage and added this soil to the compost bin which I have had quite abandoned, I will have to investigate more about it, but I added the soil and removed everything that is there to help the process.
I also had to remove a plant from a plateau and throw it in the trash, it looked bad after removing it from the root, I realized that in the pot there was an anthill and that was what had affected it, so I threw the soil elsewhere to get rid of the ants.
Also, I took those plants that I believe are succulents and planted two in different places because some of the ones that were left in pots have grown too much and their weight made them bend and fall, I planted the top part because I discovered that they adapt quickly after transplanting them and I left part of the stems in a pot to sprout and maybe plant somewhere else I still have three more in pots I will give one to a colleague in the office who loves plants and then I will see what to do with the rest.
On the other hand, I cut some dry branches of a flat oregano, but this is the one with the white leaves, I had not realized that it had those dry branches and I removed them, so it can grow more freely and happily, now that I think about it I should check if it has enough soil in its pot to add some more.
Finally, I hope you can give me your opinions about my gardening activities this week, what do you recommend me to do?
