Every day I am more convinced that there are people who should not have animals, because they do not assume the responsibility, they think it's just to have them and that's it, in fact, I have heard any number of people say that cats do not need to be fed because they look for their food by themselves.
Last week I shared with you the arrival of Mowgli and my plans to have him neutered, in fact I had already arranged everything with one of my trusted vets and he gave me an appointment to have this kitten neutered on Thursday of last week.
Knowing that to enter the operating room this cat had to keep a few hours of fasting, I warned one of my neighbors, since she gives him food, she also pleaded and told me that if she saw his human she would inform him or she would find a way to get the information to him so that he would not feed him either.
So everything was ready and on Thursday, after fighting with Mowgli's beast to put him in the kennel and starting to get ready to take him, I received a call from the neighbor who knows Mowgli's father, to tell me that this irresponsible man had left the indication that he did not want his cat to be neutered because he would become a jinx.
So simple that still full of impotence and rage, before such an argument full of ignorance and irresponsibility, I released Mowgli who goes around more upset than ever harassing all the cats and marking everything that crosses his path, in fact today he got into my house twice and peed on two of my walls.
Now, it is true that this is your cat and if you do not want to neuter it is your decision, but then take it home and do not leave it at large, not only for all the mischief he does, typical of a cat, that although it bothers me and I have cats, imagine a neighbor who does not like cats, the issue that worries me most are the dangers to which it is exposed, such as being run over, being attacked by a dog, to mention a few.
People like this, for me, should not have pets, because they do not really take care of them, it is to have for the sake of having. With sincerity, although the logical thing would be that I do not worry more about this cat, since I must focus on mine, I do not stop thinking that I would be much calmer if he had been carried out his operation to castrate him, I can only pray to God to take care of him when he comes and returns to his house.
Finished, I think that people who decide to have a pet, should keep in mind, all that implies having a life under his responsibility, it is not just take him home and that's it, this involves much more, including time and money, because a pet can last many years at our side and that will influence many of our activities, such as travel, outings, family reunions and more. I think these are things that everyone should think about before adopting. What do you think about it?
