I had a pretty low count in the late afternoon again today so i checked the actifit app settings menu and enabled "aggressive background tracking"... ta-da... the steps are counting at normal pace again and I filled the 10k easily for the day. I guess the setting turned off for me during the update?!

I always write the posts from within the app itself and up until the update I could see the images I put in just fine. Meh!
