Could be worth picking it up if you see it on sale for cheap - it is definitely a different experience from previous 3D Sonic games due to the open area and structure, so it is more palatable for casual play and brief sessions exploring to fill the objectives (I got to play it today again for some minutes and even took another shot in Photo mode)
Now that you mention Callisto Protocol, I wonder how that game went for you. I remember it being hyped up as a successor to Dead Space, but I haven't heard much of it since it released - maybe because the original Dead Space for a remake lol
