Desde arriba, desde donde todo se ve pequeño, te das cuenta de la importancia de mirar hacia arriba. Estando abajo puedes sentirte abrumado por las pequeñeces que incomodan, pero que no tienen la importancia que les damos en nuestras mentes y no ameritan la atención que les damos. Desde arriba, importa el panorama, las grandes cosas, y cualquier basura diminuta en el suelo sería incapaz de dañar el paisaje, y más bien sería imperceptible.
Escribo esto porque es lo primero en lo que me hacen pensar estas fotografías, tomadas desde la cima de un edificio en el que tuve la oportunidad de estar y visitar su última planta. Estas fotografías eran muy buenas como para no utilizarlas, ya que últimamente me he planteado ser constante en mi blog de Hive, y decidí acompañarlas con alguna divagación escrita.
El océano es hermoso desde arriba, pero a más de uno no le gustaría mirar adentro, y mucho menos estar allí. Es interesante el simbolismo del agua respecto de nuestro interior, y como nos puede asustar mirar dentro de nosotros mismos. Y en estas fotografías se pueden observar diversas zonas de Santa Cruz de Tenerife: la costa en donde se encuentra el Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín, algunas montañas de Anaga y la zona de Valleseco, un poco de La Cuesta, y la Cueva Roja en la cima de la comunidad de Barrio Nuevo.
