Steem has awarded 40 MILLION US Dollars worth of Rewards & has 920,800+ Accounts & 1.5 Million monthly posts & 3.78 Million monthly comments. Steem looks like a resounding success! + Congrats to @surfyogi & his @wafrica & @artzone for top comments stats!

Here we see the website https://steem.io and the stats for the last 2 years of Steem. $40.15 Million US Dollars worth of Rewards paid out, 920,800+ Accounts created, 1.5 million monthly posts and 3.78 Million monthly comments. These stats are a bit different from the stats on https://steemspeak.com with @banjo by @inertia but they are pretty close. @banjo says we have only 909K accounts:

So I wonder where the steemio stats come from, perhaps @mongo database is just being slow like always (Why can't Steemit Inc fix Mongo? Oh that's right we must wait for HF20 :D )

Here are some Daily Stats reports for anyone wondering about where you can find these stats

And Congratulations to @surfyogi 's @wafrica and @artzone for making it into the list of the top commenting accounts! That list is here https://steemit.com/steemit/@penguinpablo/the-most-active-steem-accounts-in-the-last-7-days-or-april-2-8 and my next posts will detail some of this data!
