Took these awhile back ~ one of those opportunities I got to take my nice camera and new lens out, while on work actually...
Unfortunately, the actual objective for the camera didn't materialise, but I did find these...
These are small... tiny even
I was quite happy with what I saw in my viewfinder
Sometimes I can't decide if I should go sepia...
Or black and white
The many shades of monochrome
This is how small or tiny those flowers were
Hardly dots on the slope where I found them
Little wildflowers no one even looks at
That's the slope around a monsoon drain (which is a deeper and bigger drain than the normal drains you find...)
So I thought I could just lean over on one leg against the slope and get these shots
How difficult could that be... just a couple of feet across...
After a few seconds in that position, it turned out to be quite a challenge to lean, balance, not fall in and take steady shots!
