EVERYONE loves a dramatic sky!
You know.... voluminous clouds, dark angry skies, unnaturally over-saturated coloured skies, unbelievably fierce layers of clouds over dazzlingly multi-hued skies!
Yeah, that kind!
Well, today, I'm going to indulge you!
I last posted muted, intentionally dulled, over smooth, "Moody" skies... So, today, we take creative license in going overboard with colours, drama and stretching the imagination that mile too far!
I give to you ~ heavy-handed editing like you've never seen before!!!
From me anyway!
I'm the kind who buys a Sony smartphone as I don't want that over-saturated look that you get from that other phone brand name which also starts with an 'S'...
Yes, you know which one I mean...
So, I seldom edit in post-production to add drama or fantasy. Sometimes just a little more contrast or light and/or dark. That's all! I swear!
The drama skies I post are usually done by Mother Nature herself... except today, she started some and I added more...
Ok, before I get sued... Let's get on with the show!

War of the Worlds...?
Digging up these never-before-published shots, taken from about 2 years ago...
I wondered if anyone would enjoy these...
Sometimes while editing, I fool around and push that lever that bit higher than I normally would...
And get some out-of-this-world scenes!
And I always wondered, "Wow! If only my conscience allowed me to post this..."
And I have never!!!
So, today, I intentionally upped the ante on these to see if too much for me, is too much for you....

Is it a storm or is it NOT a storm?
But look at the clouds, dark, looming, threatening...
But then look at that horizon....
Warm, bright and welcoming
Make up your mind!
So can I go out or not???
The Morning After
Or evening before...
It's been a helluva day!
Or will be!!
If not for the sun hidden behind that dark cloud, releasing just one ray striking through,
this scene would be washed out!
This one seems a little more normal...
Still.... higher levels than I would allow....
So, apologies for the over-indulgent heavy-handedness
