Now with the arrival of AI we must be more preventive about this, and bet more on iterating and quickly dropping what doesn’t work, not on believing that the idea will work just because we have more tools available.
agree with this and some of my issues i have lately where everyone's a dev now just recreating the same tools/platforms that already exist while they offer nothing or very little uniqueness to them just because they can create them. On top of it trying to lure people to use theirs over others with their stake which splits the community even more it feels like.
I was on the verge about an idea recently because it needed a new community created and required people to post from another front-end into that community as I didn't wanna take away users from peakd/ecency, etc, but I felt like the project itself is unique and offers enough unique things that creating this additional source would be okay, I may be wrong and am open to feedback, but yeah.
Don't even get me started on the security of things, we saw hive-engine get hacked recently and I'm starting to worry how many of these new tools/websites/services are actually safe to use, even for posting keys alone, I'm even checking security on my own projects on a daily basis now to make sure there's no leaks.
