Yeah I only watch with subs these days whether or not I can hear them. I think the only acceptable TV I've ever watched were german dubs, they're loud and clear.

Think I also read at some point that american movies are so low during talks on purpose so they can blast ads louder into your subconcious, lol. Wouldn't be surprised.
