This game was gifted to me recently after I enjoyed playing Vampire Survivors, although it's not completely similar or in the same genre which the game spewed many of due to its popularity. It is something that I've come to enjoy over the past few days playing. This was due to the randomizer with the abilities, similar to VS, while I was talking to @strawhat mentioning how it was one of the things I really enjoyed with World of Warcraft's previous expansion; Thorgast. A little bit luck of the draw mixed with skills being able to survive and progress while powering up abilities and monsters getting harder over time. I think he chose a pretty good game to recommend me with that in mind.
After a long break I decided to finally start recording some gameplay with commentary again. Do mind the noise from the AC though, so not the best recording along with people having told me that my voice "needs some getting used to" until it can be understood. :D Hope the levels are somewhat okay between ingame sounds+music and the mic, though.
This gameplay happens after about 15+ attempts so far to escape the "Underworld" and currently I'm enjoying playing with the Spear as choice of weapon but might switch it up in the near future.
I was going to post the video above but figured I'd at least give it another proper go to get to the 3rd level boss once more since that run just seemed quite unlucky with the low damage output I had that I wasn't even able to get there. Got a bit luckier in this recording but you can see how difficult that boss seems to me and I gotta think a bit more on how to go about it. That's part of the fun of the game, though, let's see how it goes next time!
Anyway, have you played Hades? Did you manage to finish it on much fewer attempts? 馃槣
Thanks for watching!
