Beware of the spammening

So it seems someone has taken a special interest in me, I am flattered but I feel like I have to let you know I am not single. :( But maybe you figured that out and that's why you're downvoting anything I post, what's funny is that he's even doing it on posts with beneficiaries 100% to the steem.dao. Oh well. :D

I knew getting into this hardfork, being a proponent of the changes and the free downvotes that something like this could occur, even more so when we started our activities with @ocdb to break off voting rings and help turn some bid bots into "curation" bots(?) whatever you want to call it. It's looking way better today and if that means some people want to hold bad blood for it I'm more than fine with it, in fact I was already glad with the increased curation rewards hence I stopped self-voting ever since the hardfork.

Anyway, I have enjoyed posting over the past 2.5 years. First year on Steem I didn't post much and mainly focused on my curation trail and increasing interaction on the chain through comments and meeting a lot of great Steemians, some still around which is nice. Getting downvoted also doesn't deter me from posting, I may even start posting more now just to see if they'd go so far as to use their upvote mana to downvote me. :P

With that said though, I'd understand if many of you would stop curating my posts and that is also fine. I've never been a big fan of autovotes and usually appreciate the manual votes I notice here and there a lot more, but even so I want to say thank you to those who have supported me over the years and rewarded me for my efforts and activity here on Steem. I'm going to continue manually curating the real Steemians out there the same way I have in the past and no unvoting/unfollowing due to the spam will change that - that'd make me a lousy curator and since that's something I've focused on here since the very beginning and to this day all of my upvotes have been manual (somewhere around 77k upvotes) I'm going to keep it that way.

So yeah, no hard feelings if you unfollow due to spam and no need to feel forced to upvote me because of this post or the downvotes. I'm not even making this to try and feel sorry even though it may come off as it, just thought I'd give you a fair warning that my shitposts may become even more shitty for some time forward. :P

Newsteem is already looking great even after a short time has passed and even though we don't have the numbers to show any strength behind the changes yet as far as onboarding or retention goes I believe that will happen very soon. Communities will be a gamechanger for it and I've been meaning to post more about it from my experiences with something similar called subreddits, but that will have to be in another post as I need to post more often. ;) :P
