Welcome to Alternative Paradox Pokemon!
In this series I will be creating new Paradox Pokemon. Paradox Pokemon were introduced in the latest games — Scarlet & Violet, and are past and future versions of Pokemon.
Todays pokemon is Rayquaza,called Sky Terror.
Original Sketch & Outline
To make Rayquaza into a past version, i tried take away the mechanical look of the original body by making it look more snake like. I added wings since it is a dragon/flying type. I added these feathery fan type things on its head and tail. I also added a bracelet/collar around its tail.
Colour
I took the green from the body and desaturated it a bit. I then took the pink that is on the edges of some of the wing type things from the original for the belly. I added some purple to the wings/feathers as this contrasted the green nicely.
Background
I made the background look like a temple/ruin, somewhere a legendary pokemon might be located or locked into. I added some glowing runes that spell ‘RAY’ in Unkowns and Old Unovian i found on the internet.
