There are only two months left in this year, two months to reach my ambitious goals. So close to the finish line, I have to concede that my goals were probably too ambitious. I have decided however to do the maximum possible to reach them in spite of that. Even if I don't get the Hive Power and HBD that I set out to have by the end of the year, every token that I manage to accumulate will bring me further and help me to grow my account.

Selling NFT's to get closer to my goals
So today I went on a selling trip. I went through all my Splinterlands accounts on peakmonsters and checked if there were interesting bids for cards. Sometimes there are bids that are even above market price. I sold a lot of cards and managed to collect about 250'000 DEC. I then swapped these into Hive and I received close to 400 Hive.
A total of 1200 Hive powered up
In addition to the 400 Hive from sold NFT's and the 500 Hive I had planned to power up anyways, I managed to net 300 more Hive from various sources. In total, I powered up 1200 Hive today. My biggest power up ever!
Not much closer to reach my goals
Unfortunately, even if the power up seems impressive, I'm still not close to reach my goals.
I set my goals in December 2021, I wanted to reach 35'000 Hive Power by the end of 2022 and I also wanted to have 10'000 HBD in my savings account.

Since I set these goals, 311 days have passed, which represents 85% of the total duration between the setting of the goals and the final date. I should therefore also have reached 85% of my targets today. In the table above you can see that I'm about 20 % behind.
I have increased my Hive power by 1517 this month and my HBD by 205. I still need about 5736 Hive Power and 1482 HBD to reach my goals. I will probably not get there but the closer the better :-)
