I believe that the downfall of hive prices was greatly accelerated by the general bear market around crypto currencies. As you said correctly, most tokens are inflationary and the more inflation, the less a token seem interesting to be bought. So when prices start to go up again, if they go up, I believe that hive will probably lag behind...
