It's nice to see you around :-). I agree with you. Also from a business perspective, it has been a kind of hostage taking over many years. I started to use meta tools to promote my business organically, built a followership and tried to give value to my customers over social media. With every year that passes, I reach less of these people with my posts and I need to pay for visibility. So this is at the other end. On one side it's mining and usage of personal data and on the other side businesses were offered a free way to interact with their customers just to see the paywall being rised slowly but surely.
