I totally agree that there is not one party that is right and the other that is wrong. I don't want to judge this matter since nobody is totally free from fault.

On the other hand, I see that 3 majors steemit employees resigned probably out of protest. Then when I read the open letter from @steemitblog I'm especially shocked by the following statement:

Deploy in the next Hard Fork as soon as possible to reduce power down time to 1-3 days in alignment to other mainstream blockchains, while open for discussion for better economic implications.

This implies the death of content creation. Imagine you could upvote a post, power down and upvote with the same stake the same post twice or several times until it is mature. This just doesn't work. In my eyes this quick powerdown is intended to help the exchanges to get their liquid steem back. In addition this hard fork would pay the witnesses more. So one person decides for a whole blockchain?

This shows me that the tron people don't understand how this blockchain works and I wonder if there is anybody left who actually has the know how to code this hard fork.

If I have to choose I prefer to vote for what allowed me to enjoy steem for two years. Nothing is perfect and the old witnesses are far from being faultless but I prefer to vote for them.
