For several years, I have been trying to set goals for myself and of course I tried to reach them. I did the same for 2024. At the end of December of the previous year, I set my goals for this year. Basically, my objective is to reach 72'000 Hive Power and 15'000 HBD in my savings by 31.12.2024.
In the last weeks and months, I went on selling Splinterlands assets that I wasn't using. I had so many cards and I am playing only a limited number of them. So I went through all my decks and checked for each card when I last played it. If I didn't play a card for more than 30 days, I simply put it for sale. I did that splinter by splinter until I went through all my two active accounts. I used the resulting DEC to purchase HBD and put it into savings. Thanks to that, I managed to reach my HBD Goal for this year after 5 months already!
While I reached my HBD Goal already, I'm behind for my Hive Power Goals. So far I only reached 27.8% of my target, while 44% of the year have already past. However, since I don't have to concentrate on HBD anymore, I will exchange all my HBD post rewards into Hive power from now on.
To measure my progress, I always evaluate how many days have passed since I set my goals. 167 days, or 44.41% of the period have elapsed so far. In order to be on track to reach my goals, I should have an increase of 44.41% today:

Even if I concentrate only on Hive Power from now on, I still need to write posts in order to reach my Goal. The month of May was a very low point in my production capacities. I only managed to make 5 posts over the whole month. I definitely want to get back to somewhere between 8 and 12 posts per month. Lately, I feel a bit more inspired. This is already the 4th post in the last 10 days. So I just need to keep this rhythm and I will be fine I believe :-)
