Leofinance has been my go to community for Hive for more than one and half years... Almost half my time spent on Hive I've consumed it via this community. I don't know why, but it caught me...
One could have said, like almost one year ago, that it was the price of LEO which had glued me to the Leofinance community, but it's long time since LEO has fallen from the $1 mark. Why and how that happened is way out of my understanding, but I sure know that back then when LEO was $1 I had my peak as a Hive content creator in terms of rewards.
It's not that I'm complaining right now, but LEO is 5x down and it doesn't seem to be on "recovery mode". HIVE has had quite a blast the past few months, but unfortunately, LEO hasn't managed to hold the pace.
It's not like Khal and the team aren't working on all sort of features and DeFi related projects or like the community is weaker, but something is missing from Leofinance and that app, cough project blank, once launched, will once again boost LEO to $1 and beyond.
We don't have much details on it, or at least I don't have much info about this app, but I'm one from the old guard that patiently waits for this thing to be rolled out. I bet 
The way I know taskmaster, he's going to be quite active with that thing...
Somehow Hive is really missing such an app. Over time, I tried noise.cash and I also used musings.io for quite some time and such apps are a hell of a traffic boosters. Short form content is what media right now is all about and what this blockchain also desperately needs.
I am not a fan of long blog posts because I know not many users will have the patience to read all the crap I'm putting in such a piece of content and when you follow a bunch of users that are into long form content, digesting it and interreacting with the author and other commenters will chew on a lot of time.
The crypto space is ever expanding and there's a lot happening on a daily basis, but it is almost impossible to cover all that in one-two posts a day... If I'd try that I would end up serving you Leofinance soups on a daily basis and I'm honestly not keen to do so.
Having such a microblogging app to stay in touch with the Hive community and to be there when all sort of events happen is a must for Hive. Hence I consider that once we will have that long awaited #blockchaintwitter, LEO is going to $1 in an instant. I don't know the tokenomics of that app, but I bet investors will buy into LEO like mad.
Make no mistake, if and when this app will be launched it is going to be a blast. I'm expecting it for like ages and I can't wait to get my hands on it. That will be the catalyst of the $1 LEO imo.
