I can't believe I'm five years in crypto and I'm still a moron in this industry. There are fresher faces in here(leofinace community included) that have managed to make more out of this industry than I did. I don't want to blame anyone for my "petite success", but myself, but I have to clear some things out...
First of all, I'M NOT QUITTING crypto. Even if I won't be doing this full-time anymore in a few months from now, I won't be leaving this space for good any time soon, I'm quitting the "sheep status" though. One that I have been in for as long as I am in crypto.
Ever since I can remember I have always planned my strategies and linked my potential gains to all sorts of ideas and predictions coming from all sorts of "meme accounts" on Twitter or youtube. I'm done doing that.
As @meno said in a reply to a comment of mine earlier today, 99% of the crypto gurus have no freaking clue what they're talking about, and the way I see it all they do is throw guess after guess after guess regarding what might come next for BTC and the herd of altcoins until they're finally right...
You know the saying: any broken watch is right two times a day...
Well, I don't need a broken watch anymore, hence I started a cleansing process lately and so far I have unfollowed about ten accounts on Twitter and will unfollow all of the ones that are filling my feed with their shitty TA day and night. I don't need this crap anymore.
I prefer offering my attention to individuals that share knowledge instead of guesses and tbh, I've learned more about crypto and finance in general from @leofinance than I did with CT. As a matter of fact, I wasted some really nice potential profits by falling for bad strategies and deceiving scenarios coming from fuckers rocking hundreds of thousands of followers on social media.
Fuck these moon boys, PlanB, and any other fucking model promising anything in crypto. The only model that proved to work pretty well is swing trading the halving. Period. You just buy when there's blood on the streets(-80% from the ATHs) and sell half a year to a year after the halving.
That simple. You don't need any damn clown and his "paint job TA" to be able to nail such a simple money-making strategy. All these fuckers do is make you lose money in crypto. I'm not saying they're badly intended, it's just that they're as useful in riding the waves of crypto as a blind man wearing a flashlight in day light.
The past couple of months have been highly stressful for me and who knows if we are close to the bear market's end or not, but at least I won't be following any clown accounts anymore going into the next bull cycle. I have a strategy that I'm sticking to, and that's it. If it goes wrong at least I won't be having anyone to blame for any type of misleading.
That's it for today. I hope I wasn't too negative with this one, but as we slide into 2023 I feel like making some drastic changes for myself for the next year and decades ahead. Changes that go beyond me and my relationship with crypto.
Wish you all a great day and see you tomorrow for my last two posts for 2022...
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
