It's a bit over three weeks since BTC has commenced its "$30k ranging" period and some already started calling it a stable coin. If you look at UST, on the other hand, then BTC is a hell of a stable coin.
That's not of bon augur, though, and I will tell you why... Four years ago when the bear market was in full swing, I remember many being disappointed that BTC was too stable at $6,000. Then, all of a sudden, it fell off the cliff and touched the bottom at nearly $3,000.
$6,000 was definitely not the peak.
HIVE on the other hand is riding the wave high today. It was valued at a bit over $0.50 for pretty much the whole day(Romania time) and now that we're close to "ticking away" into a new day, we got a nice pump on the charts.
At the moment of writing, it is changing hands at $0.61 per coin, but just a few minutes ago when I started writing this post, it was $0.59. Korean exchanges are at it again...
I don't know the exact reason behind the pump, maybe some of you guys have any clue on what would have caused the spike, but Upbit is leading the way on the HIVE/KRW pairing.
If I remember correctly, we had something like $7 million in trading volume coming from Korea about ten hours ago or so, and now the trading volume on Upbit is of $12 million.
So yeah, Korean pump.
I don't know about you, but no matter what the cause of this pump may be, I love it. Some of you were probably waiting to buy more on discount, and we might have discounted prices in the months to come, but, I'm celebrating the pump for now.
"My stomach relies on HIVE", thus let there be pumps...
How do you feel about it, happy about it or a bit disappointed that the discounts might be over?... HIVE is currently -84% from its ATH, it was close to 90% just a couple of weeks ago, though and $0.40 may have been the bottom.
We'll see... Personally, I'm glad about the pump, I'm in a really good mood and hope you guys are having a fantastic day/evening as well.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
