No matter how much you earn right now, if your income hasn't changed for the past couple of months or so, you're definitely not affording to buy the same stuff you could with the same amount of money just a couple of months ago. Call it inflation, depreciation of currencies or whatever, but one thing is clear, individual purchasing power is on a downward slope.

Literally everything is costlier lately. I don't see anything to grab around here that's on a discount since last year, or even a shorter time frame. Even second hand cars are holding the price high due to supply shortages for automakers which leads to delays in delivering new cars and increased prices of new automobiles.

25% of Argentinians are playing crypto games and earning a living, or at least making their living easier due to their use of #playtoearn games. Argentina has a 50% inflation which puts it among the countries with the highest inflation in the world. My country for example has something like 10%.

Life expenses have gone up in here as well, thus I can't say we're living the life in Romania, but fortunately we're not facing hyperinflation. Luckily we have crypto and that can keep up with inflation, as it was somehow designed for that.

Hive has the ability to not only keep up with inflation, and if you have any doubt about that simply go and check its one year chart and compare it with inflation hikes, but it can provide for a decent living as well. For the moment we can't say that any user that's constant in his hiving is able to live off of such an activity, but prices aren't going to stay this low for too long.

When I say this low I really mean it. I consider that HIVE is highly undervalued and I would put its fair price at around $5. $5 HIVE multiplied with something like 600 HIVE tokens earned a month through content creation, curation, CUB Finance, Splinterlands, Ragnarok, HBD staking or whatever you are inclined to, and you have something like $3,000 a month just by doing what you like.

Wen $5? SOON.

Playing the NFT games, however, that the Argentinians are into is not for free though. For some games you need something like a couple grands to start with while on Hive you can do that literally with zero costs. There's no guarantee that you will earn some 600 HIVE tokens combined right from the first months, but the opportunities are here.

I might be wrong on this one, but my hedge against inflation right now is crypto, thus I am spending more cash and saving crypto than I used to a year ago or so. I don't feel like cash will ever have a come back or that crypto is going to fail, thus I'm relying a lot on the second option.

Hive is just two years old, but it's showing plenty of maturity signs and it is gradually becoming a reliable source of income for quite a few users around here. Hence it is a gold mine for the current world we're living. Am I right?

Thanks for attention,
Adrian
