Four Years of Hive, A Celebration Post

Exactly four years ago @acesontop came to life on the blockchain, back then we had a different name as a community, but as we got matured we've forked ourselves and we've become Hivers. I still remember that day...

I didn't knew exactly what I was supposed to do with this account, but if felt so good to be part of a blockchain project... finally. Everything around was so new, the terms, the faces, everything, but it was exciting.

I found out about Hive from a friend who hasn't even bothered to create himself an account. He knew about this blockchain from some youtuber he was following and though I would be interested in becoming a content creator in here.

I was into tech and gadgets back then and that's what I was planning on blogging about, but time changed the initial plan and at some point I was a blogger of everything. I never knew I would come this far though, really...

I had to create my own community from scratch, learn how to blog, make peace with bid bots and most importantly learn how to engage, because I wasn't too social back then, but gradually I achieved them all and I can call myself a full time Hive blogger right now.

I was close to quitting when Justin came along and started bragging that he bought himself the whole blockchain, but luckily some clever guys around here forked us out of Steem and what a great decision it was.

Hive has become a vivid part of my life, it is like anything alike and I can't imagine trading it with anything atm. I've met all sort of people in these four years spent on this blockchains and while some are no longer active, others are and I'm grateful for their presence.

With the exception of a few days in all these four years, I managed to put out content on Hive on a daily basis. It hasn't been easy, but neither do I see it as a burden, it's more like a challenge. Like these #30dayswritting challenges of @dragosroua that have now become a daily habit.

I owe to Hive for many personal achievements, it's been a great companion during some of my gray times from a few years ago, it has entertained me, thought me a lot about crypto and earned me a living for the past year or so. My best online experience so far.

Will make this post a short one because I don't want to loose readers...

I'm trying to stay as concise and relevant as possible lately. Shout out to everyone making this blockchain possible, a huge THANK YOU to everyone supporting my content and bothering to interact with me and wish you all a great 2022.
