I woke up this morning to a water outage. Although I'm not sure of the exact reason, I assume it's related to maintenance or an unexpected issue that disrupted the town's water supply network.

It's in situations like these when we realize how easily we take basic necessities for granted. Showering, cooking, and even something as simple as washing dishes all require water. 馃槃

We often overlook the abundance we have in our lives. We enjoy uninterrupted electricity, running water at all times (except during such incidents), and even the internet is now readily available and affordable. In my country, you can get tens of gigabytes of internet on a SIM card for just a few dollars.

So, one could argue that we live in a world of abundance, right? Technically, yes. However, the reality on the ground seems to be quite different.

Ask people in Africa about abundance, or those living in North Korea and various other Asian countries, and they'll tell you that they don't experience the same abundance. In Nigeria and South Africa, for example, power outages are a common occurrence throughout the year. We can't compare our situation with the people living there. No wonder belemo@belemo wants to leave the country. If he ever chooses Romania, I'll offer him my assistance.

Now, back to the topic at hand: scarcity. One might argue that it's a natural phenomenon, but that's not entirely true. Take Nigeria, for instance. It has an abundance of natural resources, including oil, which should make it a wealthy country. However, that's not the case.

In fact, 99% of countries in the world experience scarcity because the wealthier ones intentionally induce it. These countries remain impoverished because the wealthy elites from other nations want to keep them poor.

Imagine how much could be fixed in this world with the money they spend on wars, wars that are created pretty much the same as money, out of thin air.

Corruption and dishonest leaders govern these countries, selling themselves for pennies while serving the interests of the wealthy elites who seek to control as much of the world as possible. Their aim is to limit freedom, as abundance leads to freedom.

The human species has all the necessary means at its disposal, including intellectual and technological capabilities, to create abundance worldwide. I'm not suggesting that everyone should be driving Lamborghinis, although I fail to see why that wouldn't be possible. If the UAE can create water paradises in the middle of the desert, why can't Ghana have access to running water?

The answer is simple: it's all by design. Call me a lunatic or a conspiracy theorist if you wish, but I firmly believe that the main reason we lack abundance for basic human needs worldwide is because the world has been intentionally designed this way.

My country possesses all the natural resources it requires, and it was once the largest agricultural power in Europe. However, it is now considered a developing country that is continuously mistreated by the EU whenever it desires.

In 1989, Romania was the only country to fully repay its IMF debt. Shortly after that, they killed Ceausescu, the man who made it all possible. He was even in talks with Saddam Hussein to establish an international bank.

Since 1989, Romania has never been the same. Only a small percentage of the population became insanely rich, while the majority is left with almost nothing. The same pattern emerged with Gaddafi and Hussein, and just look at the state of their countries now. The so-called WMDs that they used to justify invading Iraq? Nowhere to be found. It's all a load of nonsense.

The world scarcity that we're living in right now is induced. It has no fundamentals and no other explanations than what I rambled about in this post. So, yeah I'm pissed off because I can't take a shower right now and I won't be able to do that till after 4 PM.

But there are people who live in this world dealing with way bigger daily challenges, although they shouldn't, so next time you brag about not having the latest smartphone or the car of your dreams, look at what you have and enjoy the sun.

Some are living with way less than you do...

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
