After a fantastic Sunday May Day and an unbelievably sunny Monday, we're still blessed with great weather today. Although it was a bit windy in the afternoon, it was still quite enjoyable.
Spring is my favorite season, and I'll tell you why. Winters are too cold, and while I appreciate the lessons it can teach about being present and mindful, the cold is just not fun.
Summers can be unbearably hot here and make it difficult to spend time outside during the day. Although evenings are fun, it doesn't compare to the joy of a perfect spring day. And then there's autumn, which is my least favorite season of all. I hate everything about it - the rain, the cold, and the gray skies.
Spring, on the other hand, is simply marvelous. It's not too cold, nor too hot. You can wear just a t-shirt and shorts and spend the whole day outside without feeling too cold or sweating. I've been able to do that for the past couple of days, thanks to the good weather. However, things are about to change - rain is threatening us once again.
Therefore, I made the most of the beautiful day we had today and spent as much time as possible outside. My watch recorded around 15,000 steps in the past 24 hours, and I also managed to capture a bunch of photos that I'd like to share with you.
The spring we're experiencing this year is not the typical one we're used to. Despite the media's constant drumbeat about global warming, it's colder than usual, and there's been an abundance of rain.
Days like these shouldn't be wasted, I tell you... Anyway, they all come to an end and it's once again time to head to bed. I plan to wake up early tomorrow morning. I hope you all had a great day and see you next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
