I am following closely the protests Canadians are engaged in right now when we can finally witness how cowards politicians such as Trudeau are, who's nowhere to find and refused to face the country's people. Covid has both enslaved us more, but at the same time worked as a wake up call, if that's even possible...
For the past two years or so this pandemic has proved us that most of the politicians are not working for the benefit of the people, but rather for their pockets and the pockets of the ones paying them. For some of us this was clear for many years now, but not for the majority.
Mainstream media is not covering this event because mainstream media has long ceased to be a tool of the free people and instead became a manipulation arm for the elites.
There are alternatives for the mainstream media outlets and ways of spreading the truth, Hive being one of them. I was thinking today, while swiping through all sort of tweets regarding the revolution from Canada, why aren't people using Hive more... Or better said: why isn't Hive mainstream yet?
What has started in Canada will follow in many countries imo, Australia being a candidate for that matter because all this situation is nerve consuming and nothing more but a clownery, when you look at the data and how much manipulation we've been served by these politicians.
Lets stick to the topic, though, why isn't Hive mainstream yet? Nobody can get censored in here...
The most basic answer that I found is convenience. The masses have become so lazy and accustomed with what's being served that they're no longer searching for alternatives. Convenience is probably progress' toughest enemy.
There are plenty of crypto people for example who know about Hive, Vitalik Buterin included and still refuse to use it and that's also out of convenience. They seem to be fine with twitter, youtube and the mainstream crap we get for free.
What do you think, why hasn't Hive gone mainstream yet?
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
