"The testing phase of the Ragnarok Game is about to begin, and you can be part of this process." This just came out through the Ragnarok official Twitter account and this game is probably the most anticipated Hive DApp(after Blank ;)).
Now, we already have Splinterlands that's built on Hive blockchain and this thing has managed to hit quite deep into the blockchain play-to-earn industry, but we're about to have a second NFT game launched on this chain.
I haven't played Splinterlands, cuz I'm a latecomer and I'm oftentimes lazy when it comes to jumping into projects in their early stages. The same happened for me with CUB as well and other Hive-baked DeFi products.
I was thinking of Ragnarok lately, especially after the official tweet came out "saying that it's going to be launched SOON". Well, I hope the ones launching it don't live in Khal's sooniverse.
Anyway, the question now is: will I play it?. Well, that depends on a bunch of factors. One of them is if my highly highly poor gaming skills will help me perform decently in this regard and then there's also the NFT holdings equation... Will I have enough of them to make a difference?
So far I have 1,481 DUAT which is probably a negligible amount. Haven't bought any and neither have I sold anything, I believe that it's irrelevant to sell anything at this point while we don't have any actual clue on how playing the game will be as an experience.
BUT, even if I'm not gonna be playing the game I might lease the DUATs or however the NFTs will be named. What about you, are you gonna play Ragnarok?
