Dear steemit friends,
Yesterday, I was doing some cleaning in my room and found some of the currency that I have accumulated over the years.
It is not that I tried to collect them. I normally tried to donate the left over small notes in the airports. Sometimes I forget to do them so I bring them back with me.
Thai Baht
The baht in the currency of Thailand. And if you have been to Thailand, you will know that the people of Thailand love their king. So all the notes have the image of his Majesty King.

Iranian rial
The Iranian Rial is the currency of Iran.Again, all the notes have image of Khomeini , whowas the founder of Iran as an Islamic republic and the leader of its 1979 Iranian Revolution.
But there is one fact about currency in Iran is that no one talk about rials .When you want to buy something, everyone said Toman.
What is Iran's Currency? Is it Rial or Toman?
The official currency is Iranian Rial (IRR) and all notes are printed in Iranian Rial. But in daily life, locals almost always talk about Toman. Toman is just another way to tell the price , so there are no actual bank notes in Toman. So, whenever they tell the price in Toman, you just delete one zero of the amount in Iraninan Rial.
This is a photo of Iranian coin.
1 USD =36,652 IRR
Malaysian ringgit
The Malaysian ringgit is the currency of Malaysia.Since I am not so familar with the history of Malaysia , I asked my malaysian collegues about the person from the note. But she didn't know. I know there are many of steemians from Malaysia and I am sure you can share with us about him.

Euro
The euro is the official currency of the European Union. Currently 19 of 28 member states use the euro. It is the second most traded currency in the foreign exchange market after the United States dollar.
I find it really cool that you can use the same currency on many countries.
1 US Dollar = 0.81 Euro
Vietnamese Dong
The dong is the currency of Vietnam. And you can see the image of Hồ Chí Minh on the note who was a Vietnamese Communist revolutionary leader.
1 US Dollar = 22595.00 Vietnamese Dong
Myanmar kyat
The kyat is the currency of Myanmar ( Burma ) whereI am from. It is also often abbreviated as "K" or "Ks".Although the old note feature Aung San, who was the leader for Myanmar independence from Birtish and Japanese. but currently it has the image of this which I personally do not know what is the meaning.
History
The first Kyat was issued in both gold and silver coins in Burma until 1889. Apparently, 16 silver Kyats were equal to 1 gold Kyat. The value of the silver Kyat was equal to the Indian Rupee, which replaced the Kyat when Burma was conquered by the British.
1 US Dollar = 1337.20 Myanmar Kyat
Singapore dollar
The Singapore dollar is the official currency of Singapore. There is one interesting fact about singapore money is that they have the Currency Interchangeability Agreement (the Agreement) was established in 1967 to promote monetary cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Singapore. So you can use Singapore dollar in Brunei and they both have the same exchange rate.
1 US Dollar =1.32 Singapore Dollar
1 US Dollar =1.31 Brunei Dollar
Georgian Lari
The lari is the currency of Georgia (country).
1 US Dollar = 2.52 Georgian Lari
Swiss Francs
Although Switzerland is located in Europe and part of European European (I might be wrong ). I just remember the fact that my schengen visa cover visa for Switzerland. Anyway, the currency of Switzerland is called the Swiss franc. And the coins of the Swiss franc are the official coins used in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
