Today I had another Glint Pack opening in Splinterlands and once again I was lucky enough to receive some interesting cards. Every time I collect Glint and open a pack I feel a different kind of excitement because I never know what I am going to get. Sometimes the cards are ordinary while times I get something that immediately makes me happy. Today was another experience for me.
This time I opened Glint Packs. Received five cards. Among them the card that made me happiest was the Gold Hugo Strongword. Getting a Gold card from a pack is always special for me because Gold cards are a part of my collection. Along with Hugo Strongword I also received Kraash Wanderford, Ajax Lightfoot, Isgald Vorst and Alva the Crusher.
When I saw all five cards together I felt that todays Pack Opening was quite successful for me.
The Excitement of Opening Glint Packs
Before opening a pack I never know what will be inside. That uncertainty makes the whole process more interesting for me.
I have been trying to collect Glint and use it to improve my card collection. My goal is not to collect cards but also to gradually build a stronger collection that I can use in different battles.
Today when the cards started appearing one by one I was already excited.. When I saw the Gold card my happiness increased even more. Hugo Strongword immediately became the highlight of todays Pack Opening for me.
Gold Hugo Strongword
The exciting card I received today is Hugo Strongword. It is a Gold card, which makes it especially valuable to me as part of my collection.
From the card shown in the screenshot Hugo Strongword has a Mana Cost of 5 7 Health, 3 Armor and 3 Speed. These stats make the card interesting to me because it can provide a combination of survivability and offensive ability depending on the battle situation.
Whenever I receive a card I think about how I can use it in future battles. Every battle in Splinterlands is different. Sometimes there is a Mana limit sometimes the Mana is very low and sometimes special rules change the way I need to build my team.
Because of this having types of cards in my collection is very important to me. I am happy that Hugo Strongword has now become another Gold card in my collection.
Kraash Wanderford
The card I received is Kraash Wanderford. This card also caught my attention because of its stats.
The card has a Mana Cost of 4 6 Attack, 6 Health and 6 Speed according to the screenshot. Having Attack and Speed at this Mana Cost makes the card quite interesting to me.
Course I know that card stats are not the only thing that matters in Splinterlands. The Ruleset, position, opponents team and combination with cards can all affect the result of a battle.
Still having a card like Kraash Wanderford gives me another option when creating my team. I would like to experiment with it in battles and learn where it works best.
Ajax Lightfoot
Another card I received today is Ajax Lightfoot. This is a card and its stats also look useful for certain situations.
The card has a Mana Cost of 4 2 Attack, 6 Speed and 4 Health. What caught my attention most is the Speed.
Speed can be very important in battles because attacking earlier can sometimes make a difference. A fast card can help put pressure on the opponent. May have an opportunity to attack before a slower enemy card.
I do not think every card needs to be used in every battle. For me the important thing is understanding the battle conditions. Choosing the right cards for the situation. Ajax Lightfoot gives me another option when I need a card with a relatively manageable Mana Cost.
Isgald Vorst
The card from todays pack is Isgald Vorst. This card has a Mana Cost of 5 2 Attack, 3 Armor, 4 Health and 3 Speed according to the image.
I like cards that can fit into team combinations and Isgald Vorst gives me another possibility when building my lineup.
Whenever I receive a card I do not immediately decide whether it is good or bad. Instead I prefer to test it in battles. Sometimes a card that looks ordinary on paper can perform well when used with the right team and under the right Ruleset.
So I am looking forward to using Isgald Vorst in some battles and seeing how it performs.
Alva the Crusher
The card I received today is Alva the Crusher. From the screenshot this card has a Mana Cost of 6 2 Attack, 3 Armor, 6 Health and 2 Speed.
The Health and Armor immediately caught my attention. With 6 Health and 3 Armor the card can have some durability in the situation.
Because it costs 6 Mana I will need to think about when to use it.. Having another option in my collection is always useful. Different battles require strategies and I enjoy experimenting with my cards to find combinations that work well.
My Feelings About Todays Pack Opening
Overall I am very happy with todays Glint Pack Opening. Getting five cards was already exciting but receiving a Gold Hugo Strongword made the experience even better.
The other four cards—Kraash Wanderford, Ajax Lightfoot, Isgald Vorst and Alva the Crusher—also give me options for future battles. Each card has stats and can potentially be useful in different situations.
I am slowly trying to make my Splinterlands collection stronger. Sometimes I buy cards sometimes I level up cards. Sometimes I use my Glint to open packs.
I never know whether the next pack will contain a card a Rare card or another Gold card. That surprise is one of the reasons I enjoy collecting and opening packs.
Todays Gold Hugo Strongword will definitely remain the highlight of this Pack Opening for me. I am happy to add it to my collection.
I will keep collecting cards improving my team experimenting with combinations and trying to make my account stronger step by step.
Hopefully my future Glint Pack Openings will bring more exciting cards. Until then I am happy with these five additions, to my collection and looking forward to seeing what comes next.
