Good morning steemians hope you all are having a great start to your day. Because I sure know I am... I woke up this morning initially feeling a bit tired and lazy until I observed a small group of ants which gave me a bit of inspiration. By simply observing the ants gathered around a piece of sugar I left on my table last night, then immediately proverbs 6:6 New Living Translation
"Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise!."
jumped into my mind and then I began to see lessons that could be drawn our from observing the ants, these creatures although very small,yet within them lie great wisdom for success and growth. (Proverbs 30:24 Four things are small on the earth, But they are exceedingly wise)
Immediately I began to juxtapose the bibles description of these wise creatures with all I could gather while observing the ants on my table a few of them were:
- they show exquisite degree of organization in their structural approach to their task this is really interesting because they have no prominent leader whom they all follow .proverbs 6:7 says this also ......."Which, having no chief, Officer or ruler,"......... This shows the level of organization and trust each member have in themselves and each other making then function though individually yet showing an organised front that portrays them as a single unit.
- I also observed that for some reason they knew when to come out for the remaining piece of sugar on my table, showing that they know when to work(gather) and when not to do anything this also is seen in proverbs 6:8......"Prepares her food in the summer And gathers her provision in the harvest "....knowing the right time to go out and work for not all times are suitable for work is really important
3.the last point i observed was that it would have been impossible for just a single ant to move the sugar completely from my table alone, but because they came in a small group it was really easy for the group to do
this...Proverbs 30:25...."The ants are not a strong people, But they prepare their food in the summer".... The key word used here is "people" When a "people" have a common interest and work together there is nothing that can stop them .
While observing all of this and just letting my mind do the work by connecting and comparing what I could see being displayed on my table by ants and God's word, I got really encouraged and at that instance my disposition about today changed and truly was I inspired.
