Then heartbreak is my addiction
It’s the high I get
Why I jump head first
Hit the bottom
Because it’s only four foot deep
In other words,
They were shallow.
I want to swim in a sea love,
But have only found tide pools.
People who choose to see,
Only half of me.
Ignore that I will give of my everything
And want the one thing I wont give:
Monogamy.
I’ll still play this game,
And take the risk,
Buying into the lie of love.
Hoping to find an ocean of people
Who are just like me....
Hoping to swim in sea of love,
To find the people who want,
All of me.
