We can actually please God. When it comes to pleasing God, we talk about our works, our good deeds and actions which the Lord has asked us to do and carry out during our days on earth.
But, we can’t please God the most. That’s the irony about the whole thing. No matter how much good works that we do, we cannot please God more than one person.
Talking about the one who pleases God the most is Jesus Christ, the son of God who is existing or the only son of God who exists in the entire universe.
Then, many questions like, “since he is the son of God, why did he die?” The only truth is that Jesus Christ died for our sins. He died to save all of us and that is why he portrayed the kind of life that God wants all of us to live. That’s why he died but nevertheless, he is still the one who pleases God the most.
In the Bible, Matthew 3:17 says; And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
It has been said by God and there is nothing or absolutely nothing that is going to change the fact that Jesus Christ is the one who pleases God the most.
We should not let this discourage us. We can as well please God even if we cannot please him up to the way Jesus Christ will please him.
Hebrews 13:15 says; By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
If you want to please God, these are the few things that you should do. Never worry about pleasing God the most but please him so you can gain access to the kingdom of heaven.
