I believe that a disciple of God does not need to tell you that he or she is a disciple, but there are a few things that you are going to see and you will know that this person is a disciple of God.
When we are talking about disciples, we are not just talking about Apostles but people who must learn the teachings of God and also put them into practice.
If you are not ready to follow what God has said, it means you are not ready to call Him LORD and you are not a disciple.
Luke 6:46 says, And why call ye me, Lord, Lord and do not the things which I say?
I know that a lot of you think anyone who recognizes God as the Lord is a disciple, but you may be someone like that and still not be a disciple. How about the things that God has said? How about the rules and regulations He gave us to follow? If you do not do justice to all of them, it means that you are not a disciple.
For you to have the right to say, Lord Jesus, it means that you have given your life to Christ and you are ready to do all that he says.
If we take a look at the twelve Apostles, they are disciples of God because they are following the ways of Jesus.
One good thing about them is that they were not only following the ways of Jesus Christ in his presence but in his absence too, they made sure that they did justice to all the learned from Jesus our Lord and that’s ehat makes them a disciple.
If there is anyone who follows the ways of the Lord and does all that God wants us to do, it means that you are a disciple of the Lord.
