Is Praying Enough To Get Closer To God? || MCGI Topic Review

Praying is a way of communicating to God. When you pray, it means that you are asking from God what you want. When you are praying, you are talking to God and that is why it is a form of communication.

Sadly, we have to understand that it isn’t sufficient just to pray. There are more and more things that one should do when it comes to wanting to get closer to God.
God wants us to pray but there is something we have to do after we pray. After we pray, God wants us to do the same works that Jesus did in the Bible when he was alive.

Matthew 7:7 says; Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Asking God simply means praying unto Him. Then, when it comes to seeking, it means you take the right and necessary steps in making whatever you want work out.

Just like when you pray to God that you want to build a house. You cannot just sit in your house and expect God to allow that miracle happen. You have to go out, work hard and make money so that you will be able to build the house.

If we want something, God will surely support us by getting it but we have to fight and work for it. If we do so, God will support us and make it happen. God is merciful. He knows what we want and what we need so He will surely grant us our wishes as long as we put our trust into Him.
