It is curious the anecdote of the specimen that escaped me haha. The brown spot is a pattern that some of these butterflies have on the hind wings, the butterfly that escaped me and the one I captured later are of the same species, only one has these brown spots and the other does not, which shows that there are color variants within the same species.
