Now, it happens that if you blow the spider motionless, it does react, but it does not react to very strong and sudden movements, as if it were dead. Those of the genus Kaira have a coloration and morphology that helps them blend in with the vegetation around them, so keeping still helps them not to be detected so easily.
The spider stays in that position, you can place it upside down and it stays like that. It was really interesting to see this beautiful spider, it is the only one I have seen of this genus, it also has a very strange smell that you feel when you approach it, I do not know if it is pheromones, as these spiders can imitate the pheromones of some female lepidoptera with the intention of attracting males and trap them in their web, I do not know if this smell is due to this or it is just a natural smell of the spider.
