It's been an age since I posted to Love the clouds, an absolute age. I found out about this community through my American friend @sagesigma who often posted here over the years.
When I saw the way the sun was breaking through the clouds, I took advantage and asked my wife to take a few photos so that I could share them with all you cloud enthusiasts.
There is something special about the way that the sun splits clouds like this, something God like or Regal or something. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but when I see it, it always stops me in my tracks. That gets me thinking about some quotes that I'd like to share about the sun.
"A smile is the same as sunshine; it banishes winter from the human countenance."
Victor Hugo
"A The glorious lamp of heaven, the Sun."
Robert Herrick
"Learn from flowers - always angle towards the Sun."
Maureen Joyce Connolly
"When the Sun has set, no candle can replace it."
George R. R. Martin
