This is a second beer review from my recent holiday to Spain. As explained last week, they had no craft beers in the restaurants we visited, so I have gone with another bog standard mass produced beer. It was a family holiday, so craft beers were not high up on the priority list anyways :o)

So, I used to often have these beers at home before discovering the tastiness of craft beers, and I do still enjoy them occasionally - they've got to be really cold and enjoyed on a hot summers day. They are very refreshing and have a nice kick, you'll see why later in the post. When I was taking some pictures for the review, the lighting really wasn't working for me, and then when I looked at the photos, I thought, cool, I can do a secret beer review.... But, I will let you know at the end of the post what the beer actually is, so you can give it a try. It is not everyone's cup of tea mind you - I have some friends who don't like it at all, but I do. Horses for courses!!

A secret - If I tell you, I'll have to shoot you

This was the gorgeous view from our hotel room in Nerja, looking right down on the main Plaza. It was so handy being right in the centre of the town, although not so much on the first night, which was bin night and we had bin trucks clattering about until the wee hours on Thursday night, but that was the only negative, and we all managed to nod of quick enough anyway, as we were tired from travelling on that first night.

The little restaurant in the background on the right was a regular stomping ground for us - first class service, excellent tapas and superb Vino Tinto.

This church is a popular spot for weddings in the summer months, and lots of Irish, English and Scottish couples come here to get married, and indeed they out number the amount of local weddings by three to one I was told.

Looking at the photos, you would be forgiven for thinking I was drinking spirits - little head, tumbler glass, and colour.... Well you wouldn't be far off the mark actually, as this has some Tequilla thrown into the mix. Some of you have probably guessed what it is now..

Yep that's right a Desperado. It's like a Corona, with a shot of Tequilla chaser thrown in for good measure and it really works.

So when I saw these in the local shop when I was picking up bread and milk, I said feck it, I'll get some of these for the fridge too, and they went down a treat.
