Midge Ure was a bit of a workaholic. At the same time as being the lead vocalist on Ultravox he was writing songs for Thin Lizzy and playing with Steve Strange in Visage. Then he went on tour with Thin Lizzy then on tour with Ultravox. He along with Bog Geldof was heavily involved in Band Aid

Nice man, that's all news to me and interesting to know. I love Thin Lizzy and to be honest, although I recognise the songs, if you asked me earlier by just playing them who sang them, no way would I have been able to tell you Ultravox.

What is the rest of their back catalogue like? Are they worth checking out and any album in particular? Vienna is the pick of the bunch for me, great tune.
