I have seen live footage of them many times and Sly gave it 110% that is for sure. It is still not the same as seeing them live though. They are just so tight as a band but also have this sense of freedom about them that adds to the vibe. They just gel as a unit even when the line up changed a bit there energy and musicality are second to none. I feel I have picked the obvious choices this week, but they are so good and cannot be ignored and maybe, just maybe you forgot how good they are and this will remind you.

Yep, agree with all of that, solid song choices. I do feel that they are almost a bit under appreciated, they were a tour de force and I agree it would have been so cool to see them live in their prime. They always looked like they were having such fun while expressing themselves creatively, they almost made it look easy, like it was not a job, but a vocation to spread the funk!
